Administrative hold for more almost a week with no response from sellers@alibris.com....someone help please!

Last tuesday I had my account put on administrative hold for unknown reason. I went for live chat and talk to Amy Svenski and am being completely ignored. I only wanted to know why my account was put on hold. They told me to send an email to sellers@alibris.com. Well I did, and it has been 6 days with no response to why my account was put on hold or any kind of communication. There must be something wrong with my listings or something that I can...

I wanted to say that I am loving the new storefront, now I just need to get on the ball and find a better pic for my site. I have one suggestion for inventory management. It would be great if you could make the price search feature available in mobile apps. For example be able to access this feature on a cell phone or internet enabled pda. I use it constantly when I'm entering stock, but don't have access to...

No customer, in thier right mind, is going to purchase our copy of the The Works of Daniel Webster, OR ANYBODY ELSE'S FOR THAT MATTER. Why? Because the synopsis for them all claims it is an "OCR Edition", which none of them are. I assume when people are looking for these sets, they are looking for ACTUAL BOOKS! Not OCR PDF's...

My question is....Alibris, why are you denying us sales with your silly synopsises?

I am in the process of ordering a number of books for a private library. I type in the information for The Great Gatsby & Alibris takes me to the page where they are listed. I see one that looks appropriate & click on "read more". It takes me to the page for that particular book. So far, so good. Now I want to go back & look at some of the other copies available. I thought you at Alibris might like to hear what we booksellers are hearing from our customers about the Alibris web site. Sure, you do user surveys and all, but we tend to hear the unvarnished complaints and even some compliments from the very people who search, order and plug in those cc payments--up close and personal.

I have been selling on Alibris for a number of years and never posted on these boards(though read them often).I recently recieved a email from a seller rep informing me that I had listed a International edition and that my listings were now closed. I was then told if I was to fix this problem, my items would be restored. Seems fair enough. With over 1,100 books listed, I replied kindly as to which book was in violation. I was told in so many words its my reposonibility to figure it out....

I do not know how to price my copy as it has a wrap-around-strip over the DJ with two blurbs, one by J J Mallon and 1 by eric newton.
it is a Victor gollanz book,
No where is there a mention of the wrap around or what it is called in any listing I have found

Every Sunday morning, my sales voucher for the last week is usually posted. So far today, at 9:00pm est, no sales voucher for the last week. Please work on this as this is also the last week of the month and we need to close out our books for the month.

My Alibris payments usually show up right on time, as per the schedule. Last Friday I should have received a bank deposit. Did not show. Has there been a delay in processing?

sale and inventory activity report emails

No sale emails yesterday (yes, did get sales from the hub) and no inventory activity report this morning when I would normally get one. Also my "total inventory items" on the seller hub got an unexpected boost after yesterday's upload - 6 or 7 additional items. Anything going on?

Book not showing up...help Alibris

Hey guys....about an hour ago I listed a new book WEIRD EGYPT by Jim Jung along with a picture of the book. NOTHING!!!! I have tried title with author and just author...nothing but a book about baboons or some other such that DID NOT even have the words WEIRD EGYPT in it. How can this happen so often that the search engine puts words in a title together instead of taking the title as it is?? Also when I went into 'manage my listings' to edit a title it wouldn't let me change...

Orders from prisoners

Today I reveived a return on a multi-book order sent to a prisoner in Nebraska. When this order was received I was not aware that this was an order being sent to a person in prison (altho there were a couple of clues, now that I look over the packing slip more closely---there was a number after the receipant's name and the order was initiated and paid for by a different person that the individual who was to receive the books).

BN combined shipping and Partial Refund

I have a buyer who purchased 6 books via Barnes & Noble.

He emailed me requesting a break on the shipping charges.

I would like to do a partial refund on his shipping fees but the Order Detail page
states: 'This item is not eligible for seller-initiated return.' and a full refund is only possible.

How can I do a partial refund, via Alibris, for shipping when...
