			<description><![CDATA[ I kept waiting for this thread to come up, but I guess we&#39;re a bunch of Grinches this year! We were pretty well snowed in here in Lincoln, NE. My son and
his girlfriend are spending a few days with us. I&#39;m trying to not think about getting my wife to work at 7 a.m. on Saturday. We&#39;re only getting about
six  to eight inches of snow in a 24-hour period, but the wind is steady at 20 mph, up to 40 mph, which makes for really lousy driving conditions. Shovel a

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;ve noticed that frequently (70-80%) when I ship a small padded mailer with either the Shipping Assistant or Endicia Media Mail label the parcel is
handled as Priority Mail. Example, just had a (media mail)delivery to Utah (from Florida) in three days. My standard parcels transit to Jacksonville for
sorting and Priority/Air Mail to Orlando, so I can tell when I&#39;m getting the bonus service by checking the DC. This has been an ongoing ocurrance, not just

			<description><![CDATA[ I had a book returned...  It was damaged in shipping, according to the customer, due to &quot;bad packaging&quot; by the dealer.  It was basically a large
pamphlet which was packaged using two sheets of double-corrugated cardboard stapled with heavy staples together.  I even added extra cardboard stiffners
inside.  Yet the USPS personnel were still able to TRI-FOLD the package!!!!!  It had to have taken a massive effort and several people working together with
specially designed tools to fold... ]]></description>

updated the description and price accordingly.

notified alibris of the problem.

I have a customer in Germany insisting on paying via this method (it&#39;s a $500 book order, not huge, but a decent sum). I&#39;m a little leery of giving out
bank information to a complete stranger (although the order appears to legit, from someone in the trade). Actually, I&#39;m more concerned about bank fees for
such transactions, especially since I&#39;m with Bank of America, the biggest crooks in the business.

They require customers to purchase the green retail labels and affix them over the Shipping Assistant bar code. After being informed of this new
&#39;policy&#39; I checked the DMM and all the recent Postal Bulletins and could find no information to that effect.

the extra shipping needed when they are selling out there somehow for a buck.  We are going through our online inventory today, dropping all folios because we
