Why do so many sites copy "Worst Case Examples"?
I moved into Alibris after Amazons Collectible Book Purge of 2006, Followed or preceded by the zShop [AZ Storefront] closings.
AZ used to allow buyers a 1-Stop-Shopping or "Complete Sets" to be purchased by being able to Search by Categories I select from a Sell Sites Preset List or I can create categories.
Alibris has copied AZ and has given me and other Alibris Sellers a JUMBLED BEACH BLANKET.
AZ's reason - Yes, there actually is one - is because AZ does compete with its Sellers. Alibris has some items but is our host or Mall of Operation.
Does anyone believe we should get categories back?
Does anyone other than myself analyze their sales data?
