Does Alibris even bother to even to enforce theses agreements...
I inadvertently/accidentally/mistakenly ordered from a dealer I swore I would never order from again. I wasn't paying attention. Well it arrived on the 2nd of July, one day after the stated date, but it was in perfect condition... Not a problem with me there. Probably due to mine and others complaints they have made several adjustments...they have wiped all indications of the mailing date from the packaging. Even looking up the DC# won't tell you.
EXCEPT...
They forgot to wipe it from the packing slip. It was dated 29 June 2009.
Did I forget to mention that I ordered it and it was marked filled on the 18th?
Maybe it is just me. I bust my hump to ensure that all orders are marked filled and shipped either the same same or early the next day. When I get an order, I find the title, have it in my hand, mark it shipped, ship it that day or have it ready to go the next day, even if it takes me beyond our normal working hours. Maybe expecting some type of customer service even resembling my own from this huge, "professional" book-selling service is too much to ask.
