So, to get down to brass tacks: I am thinking of "bundling" my phone bill and internet connection, for a considerable savings. In doing this, I would essentially be dropping AOL, which has some good points (mainly it's easy for a non-expert such as myself to understand), but it's slow, so slow. And it has other problems. I'd be going to a high-speed phone connection, not like the old and very slow dial-up, they tell me. Since my new phone plan would include unlimited longdistance, I shouldn't have to worry about any nasty phone bill surprises.
If I drop AOL, what takes it's place? Internet Explorer? I already have it, and it would serve the purpose, I'm sure. But what other options are out there that you guys (and gals) like? It has to be cheap, or free.
After I get through this thing, the next step is to drop Time Warner cable and go to one of the dish networks. They are a LOT less expensive than cable, and should be OK as long as local channels are included. I guess I've always subconscously linked those outside satelite dishes with low-income apartment dwellers, and now I'm a low-income home dweller, so I guess that works!
Any advice out there?
Hope everybody's sales are going well. At this time of the year my sales are pretty slow, but, on the other hand I'm just sort of cruising along and not putting much effort into it, so slow sales are to be expected. -- Gary
