PMG Potter has announced that postal rates for 2010 will NOT increase for core services such as First Class Mail, standard mail, and single piece parcel post.
Hopefully media mail would be included in this classification. He stated, however, that rates for Priority Mail and international mail are still under review
and subject to increases next year.
This would be a good time for Alibris and the other venues that dictate the shipping allowances for sellers to review their policies and be prepared to make adjustments for Priority Mail and international shipping allowances, which are already woefully inadequate.
