According to information from Endicia, within the next few weeks the United States Postal Service will be replacing the USPS 'Delivery Confirmation' wording on barcoded labels with a 'USPS Tracking' designation. This reflects the fact that standard and media parcels typically receive from 5 to 7 scans from point of origin to delivery. My question is will Alibris and it's 'partners' that require 'tracking' on all orders recognize the USPS service as eligible for 'tracking' and enable sellers who do not use UPS or FedEx to be able to sign up for and accept these orders?
Could Alibris follow up on this and attempt to coordinate this information with those partners that do not currently accept USPS as a service provider?
I feel that I am losing orders by not signing up as accepting 'tracking' orders, but currently USPS Delivery Confirmation is specificially excepted from that category.
