I have recently had some issues with regards to requesting additional funds for overweight items. The normal interface for this was/is not working and thus I contacted customer service. The 3 different responses that I received did not suffice. Ultimately it seems to have been sorted out although as of yet no one has explained to me why the interface does not work and also what will need to be done in the future. But this is not the main reason for this post.I see that the service is being handled by Monsoon Commerce by a person named Shivani Mehta. Now correct me if I am wrong, but, is Alibris customer service being handled by an off shore Indian company? If that is the case I am disgusted. In these dire economic times with loss of jobs does Alibris feel the need to hire outside the country? Are you happy with this?
